Harold Deafenbaugh Scholarship

NEW THIS YEAR! A brand new scholarship opportunity is available to high school students (Secondary Level team members) participating in the Ohio Affiliate Tournament on March 30. This scholarship is sponsored and awarded by the Deafenbaugh family in memory of Harold Deafenbaugh, a long time DI volunteer and supporter.  See the details below for more information.

Congratulations on making it to State DI Competition!

We want to invite you and all other high school students who are going to the tournament in Lisbon on March 30 to participate in a silly $500 scholarship competition.

How do you do this?:

• Make a silly hat that answers the prompt: “How has Destination Imagination helped you prepare for your future career and goals?”
• Wear it to DI competition & snap a selfie or photo wearing the hat
• Write a mini-essay on the same prompt: “How has Destination Imagination helped you prepare for your future career and goals?”
• Submit the photo and the essay on deafenbaugh.com/enter2019
