Tee Shirts

"The castle!  I need the castle,” Jessica looked around the table for the right sponge amid a messy array of red shirts, paints, brushes, and sponges on the worktable.  Jason squirted a blob of brown paint on the castle sponge; across from him, Hannah brushed paint onto a cone while Kalli and Cole made water flow through the middle of their shirts with a bright blue.

"Hey John!  You have a shirt to finish, too," I called him back from his cement project on the floor beside us.  Natalie debated how to use the sponges to make a bridge; Kevin used mounds of paint to create a boat to flow across his ocean.

"I'm no artist..."  John picked up a bottle of green paint and dol-upped some on a piece of cardboard.  He began painting a statue of liberty, then a bridge.  Everyone is an artist today, I thought, as I viewed the circle of color and chaos affectionately.
