| Sat. December 1, 2007 | Deadline for submitting your paperwork for the Tournament, including: Team Registration, Appraiser Registration and $30.00 check for each team you wish to register. All three items must be submitted to your District Coordinator by December 1, 2007 in order for your registration to be considered complete and for your team to be scheduled for the Region 4 competition at Rutherford B. Hayes HS held on Saturday, March 8, 2008. Registrations not including all required information will be considered incomplete. Late or incomplete registrations will only be accepted by the Tournament Director if there is room for your team in the tournament schedule and will incur an additional $25.00 late registration fee, if accepted. Make checks payable to: DI REGION 4. Sorry, we are unable to accept purchase orders. | |

| Sat. March 8, 2008 | Teams are welcome to view the
performance sites Friday evening, March 7, 2008 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Again this year is a requirement from the Ohio Kids for Creativity Governing Board, who run the DI Affiliate Tournament, that each team participating in the DI State Tournament in Barberton, OH on April 12, must register the name of a trained DI appraiser at the same time your team registers for the state tournament (at the region 4 tournament awards assembly on March 8). Failure to register an appraiser appropriately trained in one of the 2008 Challenges will result in a 25 point deduction for your team at the state competition on April 12. You will also need the name of at least one two-hour volunteer who will be assigned a duty at the tournament in Barberton. |
